Paper Powered POTA (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by an individual developer. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what we need to run the service.
What we collect
- Account information — your email address, obtained when you sign in with Google OAuth or via magic link email.
- Usage data — your plan type, upload count, and billing period dates, stored so we can enforce plan limits.
- Log data — when you generate or save an ADIF file, the extracted QSO data (callsigns, times, bands, modes, RST reports, and park references) is stored against your account so you can access your history.
- Payment data — payments are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID but never see or store your card details.
What we do NOT collect
- Your photos are never stored. Images you upload are processed in memory, sent to the Anthropic Claude API for extraction, and immediately discarded. They are not saved to any database or storage bucket.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate the app:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- Anthropic — AI image processing. Your uploaded images are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for log extraction. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing.
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs all payment data.
- Vercel — hosting and infrastructure.
Data retention
Your account data and saved logs are retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us.
Cookies
We use session cookies for authentication only. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
